About our permanent extensions
Method
At Amy Jean and Co we supply Volaré Hair Invisi Wefts and Bellami Professional Flex Weft Extensions which can provide both length and thickness. We also customise clients looks when needed by filling out specific desired areas like the front hairline, with micro extensions using Great Lengths or Volaré Hair. This allows each client to have a unique instalment for their own personal desired wants and needs.
Bellami Professional uses the highest quality 100% cuticle remy human hair. “Remy” means all the cuticles of the hairs in the extensions are intact and not at all stripped.
We install Bellami Volume Wefts using the micro-bead method and sew in method, which is a comfortable, flexible and discreet extension method.
You will still be able to tie your hair up, style as normal and embrace your new extensions as part of your own natural hair... (believe us when we say, they start to become a part of you!)
Maintenance
Maintenance is required every 6-7 weeks, where we maintain the same set of extensions and re-position them back up after they move with your natural hair growth.
Maintenance appointments include extensions removal, relaxing was if you want it (some choose not too) & blow wave, re-install and style.
Maintenance costs:
$150 - 1 hour
$200 - 1.5 hours
$250 - 2 hour
Generally:
Full Head Set without wash = $200 - 1.5 hours
Full Head Set with wash = $300 - 2.5hrs
Longevity
As these extensions are made out of 100% human hair, this allows you to be able to use hot tools (straighteners, curlers etc) to style your extensions, but we always recommend to not over-use hot tools, use heat protection and extension friendly products.
The more you look after and maintain your extensions, the longer they will last (and you should be looking after your natural hair anyways!)
You will need your extensions maintenance appointment every 7-9 weeks, where we will bring your extensions back up to your roots using the same set you are wearing now.
Majority of our clients will get a new set of extensions every year.
Do's & Dont's
Here's a few things to keep in mind while wearing your permanent extensions...
DO:
- Use extension friendly product like Actyva, heat protectant and oil's etc.
- Brush your hair with an extension friendly brush 1-2 times daily.
- Put your hair in a loose braid while sleeping.
- Wash your hair after swimming in chlorine or salt water.
DONT:
- Go to bed with your hair wet.
- Use supermarket/non extension friendly products.
- Overuse hot tools (straighteners, curlers, wavers etc).
- Go to bed with chlorine or salt water in your hair.
